Class Descriptions

Hatha yoga

75 Minutes, Moving through a combination of conscious breathing and series of poses, this class will build strength, promote flexibility (in body and mind), corrects the body’s alignment and create a sense of well-being. This is a perfect style for all, from beginners to athletes looking to supplement and balance their daily workouts, to the seasoned practitioner to deepen body awareness. Iyengar taught us to emphasize precise alignment in each pose, so the use of supports such as blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters will be instructed. Most important is that you listen to your body and take this time to deepen your connection to self.

Rise and Shine Yoga


6am is a 50 minute class (we know you have to get to work) 7am is an hour class. This class is a perfect way to start your day designed to wake up your body mind and soul.  Accessible for all.

Align and Refine

75 Minutes, In this class we will explore proper alignment for your body. Understanding what you can do to get the most out of your postures, and focusing on and breaking down a few key poses each class. A little workshop, little B.K.S Iyengar, some biomechanics, anatomy, and body awareness will make this class perfect for everybody. 

Yin Yoga

75 Minutes, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.Yin Yoga directly addresses the demands that sitting still in one position for a long time places on the body by focusing on stretching connective tissue instead of muscle.Yin Yoga is for you if you are tired, over-stimulated, when your energy is too erratic, your mind overactive, whether you are craving for energy or you feel you have too much of it. it's a good idea to balance all the on-the-go aspects of life and a great way to do that is through Yin Yoga. Accessible for all.

Gentle Yoga

60 Minutes, A calming yoga class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. Asanas are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment, stretching and strengthen all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. Great for all levels looking for a soothing, relaxing class. Wonderful for  those newer to yoga or working with special concerns or injuries. Accessible for all.

Yoga for people who think they can't do yoga

60 Minutes, This class is for all of you out there who think you can't do yoga for one reason or another. Not flexible, out of shape, too old, too tall, too short, too fat, too lazy, too busy, It's too slow, it's too fast, tried it once it wasn't for me, and any of the other eight million reasons you may have. We are here to help you.

Restorative yoga

75 minutes, Restorative yoga is an ideal balance to hectic and stressful modern lifestyles. Perfect for  when you feel Stressed, weak, or fatigued from your daily life. With its roots in in Iyengar yoga, he developed a practice that allows students to practice without any strain or pain. It is also designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and the mind. You can practice the poses when not feeling so great and while injured.The use of props to support the postures, while gently stretching, relieving and reviving the body. Restorative yoga is appropriate for all levels of practice, and a must for keeping balance in our high paced society. Accessible for all.

Yoga Nidra

60 Minutes, Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, is a powerful meditation and relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. It is one of the easiest yoga practices to maintain. Resting comfortably in savasana, this systematic meditation takes you through the five layers of self, leaving you with a sense of wholeness. Benefits of yoga nidra are, anybody can do it. It’s an easy way to reduce stress. You cannot do it incorrectly.  Accessible for All

community class

75 minutes, a great mix of hatha, and vinyasa/ashtanga. cost is $5 everybody is welcome. Class is free for current class pass holders. Accessible for all.
