The Studio
Satya Yoga began in 2015 with a simple but powerful mission: to make yoga, wellness, and mindful movement accessible to every body. We proudly specialize in teaching yoga to people who think they can’t do yoga, because yoga is not about flexibility, performance, or perfection. It’s about connection, healing, self-awareness, and living with greater ease.
Over the years, Satya Yoga has evolved into a holistic wellness center that seamlessly blends traditional practices with modern, science-informed approaches. Today, our offerings include:
-
Group Yoga Classes – Hatha, Hatha Flow, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Chair Yoga, and more
-
Yoga Therapy – One-on-one, IAYT-certified therapeutic sessions for pain, injury recovery, trauma, stress, and whole-person healing
-
Ayurvedic Health Coaching – Constitution-based nutrition and lifestyle support rooted in the wisdom of Ayurveda
-
Integrated Training – A personalized fusion of fitness, yoga therapy, mindful movement, and health coaching for real-life strength and resilience.
Whether you’re just starting out, returning after an injury, managing chronic pain, or seeking a deeper, more meaningful practice, we meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence and compassion.
We’ve also embraced the best of both worlds: in-person classes and virtual options that make practice possible anywhere. Our community now extends far beyond Western New York; we’ve had family members join from different states, clients practice from vacation, and friends reconnect through shared online classes. Accessibility isn’t just a value; it’s how we operate.
Giving back has always been part of our work. Each holiday season, we adopt a veteran family through WNYHeroes, and throughout the year, we run donation-based classes and community support programs. Previous fundraising efforts have supported hurricane relief, animal welfare groups, and the Himalayan Institute’s humanitarian work in Cameroon, including public health and literacy initiatives.
We actively work to break down the barriers that have kept so many people out of wellness spaces. We honor all bodies, backgrounds, identities, and abilities. Yoga does not care what you weigh, how old you are, your income, or whether you can touch your toes. You belong here, exactly as you are.
Satya means truth, and we are honored to support you in discovering your own.
