Ayurvedic Treatments

Nourishing treatments to support your body’s natural healing

Ayurveda views healing as a process of restoration, bringing warmth, lubrication, and vitality back to areas that carry pain, stress, or depletion. These localized therapies use warm herbal oil to deeply nourish the tissues (dhatus), soothe the nervous system, and support function in the joints, muscles, and organs.

All treatments are customized to your needs and may be paired with breathwork or gentle supportive practices.

Janu Basti

Target area: The knees

Janu Basti is a deeply nourishing treatment that bathes the knee joints in warm medicated oil. A soft dough well is built around the knees, then filled with oil that penetrates the layers of skin, muscles, and connective tissue to bring lubrication, warmth, and ease.

Why Janu Basti?

This therapy helps:

  • Relieve stiffness and discomfort in the knees

  • Improve joint mobility

  • Ease tension, inflammation, or dryness in the area

  • Calm aggravated Vata, which governs movement and the joints

⚠️ Note: This is not a cure for advanced structural issues or a substitute for knee surgery. However, it can bring great relief before or after surgery, or when joints are stiff, achy, or overused.

Who it's for:

  • Those with creaky, cracking, or painful knees

  • Anyone preparing for or recovering from a knee replacement

  • Runners, walkers, or those on their feet often

  • Clients with arthritis, dryness, or postural strain

  • Relieve low back pain and stiffness

  • Soothe sciatica, muscle tension, or spasms

  • Ground the nervous system and calm Vata
